This stuff on your tires. Remarkable stuff and can give a matte finish or a shine depending on how many applications you do. Smells like grapes.

I would just add that compound is not something that should be used as part of a regular cleaning routine, especially with newer clear coats.

Like 3M, Meguir's has a professional line of products. I tend to use a mix of each though
Posted on 7/30/14 at 11:11 am to nolanola
Currently my arsenal consists of:
- Foam gun
- Porter Cable DA Polisher
- Lake County pads
- Two buckets w/ grit guard
- Meguiars Gold Class Soap
- Meguiars Gold Class wheel cleaner
- Meguiars clay bar
- Meguiars Gold Class interior protectant
- Assorted Poor Boy's World polishes
- 4 Star Ultimate Paint Protection sealant
- Meguiars Gold Class Quick Wax (for washes in between waxes/details)
- Black Magic tire shine
I know there are better products, but being able to apply coats without a 6-12 hour cure time and being able to apply some products in direct sunlight is a big deal for me since I have no covered parking at my condo. Sucks, but something I just have to work with. I also like being able to buy stuff locally...just easier.

I agree. Really the only time I'd use it is after wet sanding.

I only use Zaino products. Best orbital polisher is the Porter Cable 7424xp. Can't go wrong with this combo.

Yep.
I really like the way the have the progression set up on their website.

Hey...Nice Car man...
My first car was identical. One of the worst decisions of my life was selling it back in '71.
and by the way...Nanoskin Fine grade Prep sponge works 3 times faster than clay and actually does a better job!

Meguiar's products have worked well through the years for me. I see no reason to change.

I use various products generally purchased from autogeek.com - polishes, sealants, tire & wheel wash, tire dressings, etc. One of their coolest products is Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Glass Coating. I applied it to all my exterior glass surfaces and the results are great. Repels water like nothing I've ever seen and bug guts are very easy to remove from the windshield. Pricey item though - $80 for a 4 oz. bottle.

Did you make a deal on a new one? Coworker just signed the papers on one yesterday.

Almost forgot. This stuff for glass. Autozone carries it and it's the first stuff I've ever used that leaves absolutely no streaks. With a name like Stoners what could go wrong? Stoners Invisible Glass.
