Why does having a kid with autism increase your welfare payment at all?
I can understand giving more welfare to a disabled adult, since they're not required to be financially supported by their parent.
But an autistic kid is supposed to be financially supported by their parent, just like anybody else under 18. It's not like you can claim that an 11 year old's autism is costing him income or something.
You asking why someone that would qualify for disability payments as an adult receives it as a child?

Getting an actual clinical diagnosis is far different than posting a score from an online quiz on facebook.
Or what they saw on a video on TikTok. Earlier this year there was a whole rash of "I saw this video on TikTok that says I might have OCD" deal that brought people to offices. My guess is a very small percentage of them actually got diagnosed with OCD.

There are tons of the later, who expect to be treated exactly like the former-- and yes, for those people, its an easy sympathy grift-- as a parent who has to deal with medically significant, life impairing autism in a child, I hope those people get anally violated by barbed demon phallus in the afterlife.
Absolutely. Sympathy grift though is different then getting the clinical diagnosis (and if you're a parent of a child with ASD, you know that part isn't the easiest) and actually being able to collect a check regarding it.
Hell, if I was going to run a scam on clients with a diagnosis to get a disability check it wouldn't be with ASD.

I have a hobby that I have a genuine interest in and I actively spend time participating in such hobby, so that means I'm autistic.

Yes I did report those parents to the authorities but they did nothing.
Doesn’t matter. Keep doing the right thing. This country needs more people like you. And I know you sleep better at night.
