Austinites---is the clown still on Public Access?

For those of you who've never had the privilege, Austin has a very well funded (by Time Warner, I think) cable public access channel. You pay $100 to get a producer's license and you get access to their studio and all their equipment to make just about any type of show you want.
Austin's a relatively liberal city, so providing a platform really brought out some interesting characters. Alex Jones had a show before infowars blew up. But my favorite was the angry clown. Black studio with mic hanging down and spotlight on him taking live calls and going on terrific rants. Hilarity often ensued.

I grew up watching AOC in Lafayette. I've never seen the angry clown show but I bet he's got nothing on the Klan in Acadiana.

The Klan had a show?
Austin also had this insane--like legitimately bat-shite--professor or something spouting nonsense that was funny. And there was this bizarre "worship" show where they would dress up in red, white, and blue and play music while they danced around in weird kaleidoscope effects. It was fantastic.

How old are you? There used to be a public access character in the early 90s named John who was a liberal. I think he went up against Alex Jones at times, in studio.
He looked like Higgins in Magnum P.I., so people would call in and say "My God, Magnum!" and John would smirk and hang up on them.
One night he invited people to come down to the studio at 2 in the morning and meet him in the parking lot. I wonder what happened.

There was also a former black panther on AOC. He used to call the CajunDome the CoonAstrodome.

I'm in my late 30s. Before my time. I was there in the early to mid aughts('01-'06).

Awesome. Did he have a British accent?

Didn't you and 007 live together?

For a bit. And another friend. I was there a few years before 007, though. And he stayed after I left.
I don't believe Diaper Time was around back then. I can only imagine.
