Billy Bobs might the worse fricking Live music venue in Texas
I wasn't referring to large venues.
Austin used to be known for it's small venue shows, now you walk around DT Fort Worth or Stock Yards and you see many bars with live music.

Still Do. Austin was known for its smaller venues and today its the same. Austin 360 amphitheater has been a great addition for larger venues since the Frank Erwin Center's acoustics are terrible. In terms of mid size venues, I would take Stubbs over Billy Bobs anyday.

Wednesday night is their Free Texas Music series. Saw Stoney Larue play a few weeks back. I might go tonight. Spoke will always be the Spoke.

Huh? Red 7, Red Eyed Fly, Mohawk, Cheer Up Charlies, Dirty Dog Bar, Emo's, Weather Up, Scoot Inn, Continental Club, Swan Dive, and many more all say hi.

I'd say most cities in louisiana should be ranked higher in that category than tx cities.
