Phillips used the same foam in the trilogy that they used in the dreamstation. Also some of the older units as well.

The recall of the trilogy makes me think the problem exists independent of ozone cleaners.

Or is it being recalled just because they use the same foam filters?

Have they actually seen the foam breakdown in the Trilogy..?

Appears that the recall and diversion of components to make wuflu respirators has caused a shortage of cpaps making availability a problem and putting upward price pressure. Folks needing a replacement Cpap should also look at the used market. there appear to be plenty on Craigs list for 100-200 dollars and used brokers. have them for 300-400 dollars.

folks that are really dependent on their Cpap should have a spare that runs on both 120 v ac and 12 v dc.

Same sound insulation foam used in a bunch of their devices. Complete shite show. If have my doubts about Philips Healthcare existing after all of this is said, and done. Lawyers are lining up, Philips is hemorrhaging huge amounts of money. No CPAP/Bipap/ventilator sales for another year.....at least. Plus, they are now tarnished so badly, only a few docs will continue to support them.
