At least one, possibly two BRPD motormen involved in accident(s) today

It looks like the second motorman was on his way to the first accident.

Authorities said a motorcycle police officer was injured after getting hit by an 18-wheeler Monday morning.
The wreck happened on US 190 West (Florida Boulevard) near US 61 (Airline Highway).
The Baton Rouge Police Department reported an 18-wheeler changed lanes and hit the officer. The driver of the big rig was cited for failure to yield on a lane change.
The officer’s name was not released, but authorities said he was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries and is listed in stable condition.
Florida Boulevard was closed at Airline following the crash. All lanes were reopened around 11:35 a.m.
Authorities added the officer was not on an emergency call when the crash happened.

I witnessed one get smoked on Nicholson after an LSU game last season...Suv hit him then drove over him

That was an LSUPD motorman. He's still recovering from that accident, lucky to be alive.

She never left the scene. Turned left in front of the motorcade.
