What if the truck has 140,000 miles on it with the original plugs and coils?

The brakes on my tacoma squeel, but only in reverse...it's especially loud when backing out the driveway every morning, and it only happens when I apply the brakes
.brakes are quiet when going forward though.
Any guesses?

My Snap on Modus cost me $6500.
And learning to actually use it is worth at least as much

Tacoma have drum brakes in the rear.
Get it on some hard pavement and back up about 10mph and apply the emergency brake.
That will allow the auto adjuster to tighten up the shoes inside the drum and hopefully cure your issue

Edit. Sorry for the novel.
Picked up a 2000 S-10 Blazer last weekend that the Missus' family bought brand new. The odometer reading is ~280k, but it had a rebuilt engine put in a cpl years ago with around 50k miles and has since had around 20k miles put on it.
So odometer ~280k; engine ~70k.
The AC doesn't work, if you turn it on, it blows, just not cold. How do I know if it just needs to be recharged or if it's more serious? Trial and error?
Also, the passenger side window switch will not roll the window down. You can only roll the passenger window down from the driver's side. Is this just a bad switch on the passenger side?
Other than oil change and air filter, what else should I do to "tune it up".
It had been sitting for almost 6mos maybe...Definitely 3-4 mos. I think it had some trash in the gas because it would sputter a little when I would get on it as it got towards the bottom of the tank that was in it (was sitting with a full tank). But since I've run that out and refilled it, it seems to have stopped the occasional sputtering. Do I need to change to fuel filter?
There's a cpl other things, like the hood latch hanging and such but this post is already long enough.
For a 17 year old vehicle it runs and looks great, contrary to this post, 4x4 works, etc so I want to fix things like the window, AC, and any preventative maintenance to make sure it keeps running good.

You're in for a world of trouble then.
I would recommend seafoaming the intake and also adding a whole bottle of Seafoam to the gas tank and running it for 100 miles before attempting to remove the plugs.
Seafoam will help break down the carbon that locks the Lower half of the spark plug in the cylinder head

Must check Freon level before moving on. And you can check to see with a test light if the switch is outputting voltage by pulling it out of the door and back probing the harness
