You mean living off one income? Yes. With a million in the bank I guessing that will yield $40K in interest a year. At that point I can claim I am wealthy because I will be building wealth from an liquid asset. 10 year that $40k will become and additional $400k. So at 50 I am hoping to have 1.4 million in the bank and then I can retire relatively young and enjoy life.
Now please know that this is just based on me doing some online calculators from bankrate. I will have to talk to a financial adviser to make sure realistically calculating this.

Of course not. African history has never interested me. There is a lot of basic history I don't know about Africa. I have honestly, always wondered when will a country from Africa get their shite together.

Yea we are 30 and have one kid. The only problem is my wife one day she is hollering bout being a stay at home mother the other day she is talking about going back to school to become a nurse practitioner.
Its hard trying to keep her in check. He parents are relatively well off. She has no concept of how to be strategic with our money. Just about anything she wanted she got. She sees our bank accounts and figure we are rich. I am like no we are not. Not in the slightest,but maybe one day we will get there.

I got a question for any black people in this thread.
Why does it seem like hip hop culture is so mainstream in the black community? It's almost like it's associated with how "real" someone is. It seems like even middle-aged black guys who wear a suit to work feel compelled to accept hip hop culture or else they wouldn't seem black enough to their peers.

Trust hard earned is easily lost, too. I've had about 10 close friends over the course of my life - 2 are black. I would trust my life to any of them.
I had 1 "near miss" - and that was a white dude. I can't name a black person who intentionally fricked me over. The closest was - 1 brother tried to get me in trouble for being a racist for sharing the Chris Rock: How not to get your arse kicked by the police video. Another black co-worker told him to BTFO.
Dozens (probably 100 by now) of white people have either fricked me over or tried to frick me over.
