No idea. Throw up some stats. Trying to figure out the point of this question. Been a long day, and I'm tired.

Well I'm glad you finally understand the point I was making.

Here in SC, the danger of contracting the virus is a rounding error. If even that.

Well, you said you would NEVER would wear a mask didn't you? Which sounded like you just want to resist what you might be asked to do by your state or local govt. What if you lived in an hot zone or the # of cases exploded in your area?

Would you wear a mask then?

You could've answered the question much more logically.

No, I didn't. Go back and read my initial response to this thread.

I'd reevaluate then. But that's not the case here. So I'll continue to not wear a mask when it's pointless to do so aside from virtue signaling.

I answered the questions very logically. You are the one that admitted you were angry over the whole thing.

That statement right there tells me all I need to know.

Discussion over. Thanks.

Pointless to continue. This is all political to you. Shame.

So you can't be angry and logical at the same time?

I could've easily answered you politely, but I didn't want to. I can be logical when angry or happy. Not hard to do.

You should know what you're talking about before you talk.

Jesus...

Do you even know what an APR is?

Edit:

There is a dramatic difference between surgical masks and N95 type respirators.

I wear N95s.

No. The anger demonstrates your inability to think logically and instead follow your emotions. Which you've done the entire time in this thread.

I know nothing about masks, don’t really care.

I’m just repeating what everyone says when I tell them I’m in no danger from China flu

Nope, didn't sidestep anything.

You absolutely did, and are still trying to.

quote:

You brought up a dumb comparison and I actually gave you and equivalency.

You chastised people that don’t want to wear masks because, and I’m quoting, “Not when you could be putting someone's life in danger” to a post about how stupid it was for you to get mad about someone else not wearing a mask. Anyone operating a motor vehicle could be putting someone’s life in danger, yet you clearly don’t have an issue with that continuing to happen since you won’t be turning your vehicles into the government. There is no equivalency to be brought up here.

quote:

You brought up car accidents when discussing pandemic safety measures.

I brought up car accidents in response to you being mad about other people not being more concerned with potentially saving someone’s life. Are you saying lives are only worth saving during a pandemic? Because if not what you just wrote is irrelevant.

quote:

Speed limits are equivelant to masks. There's an inherent danger but we implement measures to make these activities safer. Do you wear your seatbelt?

Like the above, completely irrelevant.

quote:

I try not to speed and I wear my seatbelt because I understand these inherent dangers exists and I accept them, and I do what I can to be safer.

So you’re saying the only way car accidents happen is if people are speeding and not wearing seatbelts? Because if not, also completely irrelevant.

quote:

Actually, 1.25 million American die in car accidents annually if you didn't know.

Actually it’s around 35,000. But since you believe it’s 1.2 million, that even further proves that operating a vehicle is very dangerous, and not doing that could potentially save lives. Thank you for further proving my point with your incorrect information.

quote:

I won't wear a mask when the danger of contracting the virus is low.

A low danger is still a danger. You could potentially save someone’s life by wearing a mask. You’re not a hypocrite are you?

quote:

Just like I don't wear sunblock at night. The hazard isn't above my threshold of concern.

Wait, so you’re saying you’re allowed to determine how hazardous something is or isn't and choose your behavior accordingly, but other people aren’t? I guess that answers my question. You are definitely a hypocrite.

quote:

If this reply doesn't satisfy your stupid arse, I don't know what will.

This reply had you continuing to attempt to sidestep the question, provide incorrect information further validating my point, and showing everyone that you’re a hypocrite. I am thoroughly satisfied by this reply.

So you wear the masks intended for the medical community and that are it at least were experiencing a shortage throughout much of this time? And you think everyone else should be wearing them too?
