Again, how so? If, as liberals believe, a 12 year old child can consent to having their body fundamentally altered in order for them to develop gender traits other than those that are natural for them, does that not mean that 12 year old is can also make decisions for themselves when it comes to their body? And if that's the case and they can make such decisions, then how can they not make the decision to consent to sex with whomever they choose? How is a 12 year old deciding they want to have sex with a 18 yr old down the street any worse than that same 12 year old deciding they want to change their gender? If they have the right and the ability to be responsible enough to decide their gender, then they likewise can make the other major decisions about what they do or allow others to do with their body. If the first is true, and that's what liberals believe, then the second must be true as well.

Well for starters, I don't like the term tolerance, it actually implies that something isn't right, but you "tolerate it". Acceptance is a better term.

Do you think a child, let say a 10 to 12 year old just entering puberty has the mental capacity and development so they can make an informed and well thought our decision to physically change their body from the gender they were born with to a gender they "identify" with?
Yes or no. Is a child capable of making such a decision?
