I think it is a move to get better applicants and raise their rankings.
I would imagine for this first class they will get top level talent applying.

yeah free college for everybody is lunacy. I can just imagine all the waste from people getting art degrees that are free.
In this case, an MBA is a pretty useful degree.
Lately the knock on the degree has been that it is not worth what you pay for it...however if it is free, and if it is from a relatively respectful institution like ASU, seems like a great opportunity.
if the timing was right for me, I would definitely look into this.
