Well, we’re talking about two different things then. The thread is about war and so was my post. When you said “pay the price”, it would only make sense to assume you’re talking about an armed conflict.
Might the US impose economic sanctions of some kind? Sure? But an armed conflict is zero chance and the chance that the US does a total trade embargo isn’t far from zero.
