What percentage of people get handouts? Have their buying habits changed?

I have quit buying certain products ,switched to generic version, or wait for a sale if that is an option. Until the consumer adopts that mentality prices will never go down.

Also, haven't they fallen behind on the fires? Chicken processing plant fires aren't behing reported anymore.
