Well if you are blind without scripts and you want to see in the daylight, yes.

I don't wear contacts.

Why?
Just a personal preference.

I can't wear contacts either. My wife thinks I'm weird, but I can't stand things touching my eyes. I tried several times to get them in, but just never could get it right. I'd get them in, then have to adjust them.
I have two pair of prescription sunglasses. Maui Jim and Costa. Awesome for driving and at the beach. Both polarized.

I used to be the same way. Felt like an absolute retard the first time I tried putting a pair in while the hot optometrists assistant watched me. I got used to them quickly though. Having to tote around prescription glasses and sunglasses is a pain in the arse. Contacts (if you're able) or Lasik is the way to go

Was for me. Only time I wear contacts now is when bow hunting.

I had Flex Spending Account money to spend by a certain date or I lost it.
So I got some really nice prescription Maui Jims. Love them.
I'm just a tiny little bit near sighted so really only need glasses/contacts while driving at night. I can see ok without them during the day, the prescription sunglasses is just like a major boost.

I don't wear contacts either and couldn't imagine not having prescription sunglasses.
Definitely worth it IMO.

I can't wear contacts. 100% worth it. I couldn't drive without them.

Yes, but don't treat them like cheap sunglasses and wearing them in salt water. They'll get eaten up and the lens film will begin to tear. Smh

I wear glasses and I find it to be a pain in the arse to carry around my sunglasses and regular glasses. I need both because as soon as I go indoors I need to switch back. I would recommend the transition type of glasses so that won't be a problem for you. I am going back to contacts soon and hoping for Lasik within the next year or two.
