Yes, but the salinity is slowly coming back, and quite a few people are ignoring the warnings. I haven’t heard of anyone actually having an issue.

The MS coast is beautiful, but you’re not coming here to swim in the bay or gulf. It’s the coast, not the beach. The sand is decent, the water is to catch fish or shrimp or crabs in.

They actually keep the beaches in Mississippi really nice. It is the water that is a real turn off unless you love fishing, sailing, or boating.
