Not a bad bang for a few sparklers.

Just look up the recipe for flash powder. About 3g per m80. It's very dangerous, though. Have fun!

ETA I hear they used to be for sale at many Indian reservations.

Not really. Hard to find anything even to the level of the old cherry bombs in ground based fireworks.

BUT

Smoke and mirrors Mortar made by Brother's Pyrotechnics is pretty awesome. Really anything by Brother's is the stuff to get. But of course, it's going up in the air and making quite the spectacle.

You're welcome.

They sell them up here in Mississippi but not as powerful as back in the day. Souped up firecrackers really.

I feel guilty lighting these off. The most unbelievable launch and report i've ever witnessed. I make sure to get a few boxes of these each year.
They had to make their tubes our of composite reinforced plastic and the box comes with 4 tubes.

He had that video on YouTube, but took it down because I had a page long argument between alter YouTube accounts with myself about gays, Chinese, WW2, etc. He didn't figure out it was me for a while

I think I've seen those before. I'll keep my eye out for them because I just bought the last brothers motars the place I go has. It's like those I bet, a definite difference. My kids call the brothers brand the "shat your pants rockets".

I just googled the Jason Pierre Paul injury and that may be enough for me to stop throwing fireworks from my hand. damn that's brutal.

My friend has been doing firework shows across the country and he does these loud explosions that he shoots up in the air and it about knocks you off your seat 200's yards away. I asked him what he uses and he said 12 pounds of high flash powder. 12 POUNDS! He also does a lot of the gas explosions which involves 1 to 3 gallons of gas. Looks like a mushroom cloud of fire and puts out a lot of heat. Video above has his explosions at the end. Flash powder and gas explosions 2:52 mark til the end

That looks like it's probably a good thing.

Damn.

This is a myth, fwiw. It is not even comparable to a quarter stick of dynamite.

This.

Both are fun but 1/4 sticks are a lot more powerful. We set one off on one of the bike trails in the Eastern part of Antioch park and you could hear it pretty far away.

That's where the 1/4 sticks came from.
