College towns frequently have jacked up rental markets

Usually due to a solid night life and well built city structure that makes a commute to school convientent and demand high. None of these apply to Baton Rouge

You might also want to check out the Bayonne at Southshore Apartments on Stanford across from Milford Wampold Park.

It's crazy, when I was at LSU, Baton Rouge had the highest average rent out of all the sec cities.

Surely it's cheaper than Nashville? I find it to be about average. I've only lived in NYC and Nola for frame of reference though

Surprisingly the cost of living in Nashville isn't bad, the job market sucks though.

I pay almost half that in uptown/east Dallas

I lived in the Phoenix at Mockingbird Station in 2000 and it was $1000 a month for 1BR. Where you living for a 650/month apt? fricking Mesquite?

Weird amount of effort you put into that

1. I'm very familiar with the area.
2. I'm an IT guy stuck in project meetings all day and bored.
3. I'm a Snag-It power user. shite took like 32 seconds once i got the map pulled up.

I wasn’t trying to brag in this thread at all so I’m not sure what your end goal was in the first place

Just to pass time on the OT till 4pm. No real goal here.

CSB: The great snowfall on NYE of 2000 in Dallas. We left the North Park Mall on the top floor of Dillards. It's snowing like shite. We're all excited being from Baton Rouge so we go driving around. We were also new to the area so shockingly we got lost/stuck in some snow down in that exact area I pointed out. Without GPS, we pulled out the ole handy dandy Mapsco to find our way back to Greenville/Mockingbird.
That night the snow had moved east and fell on the Independence bowl where A&M was Playing Miss State. We watched it from the Bone in Deep Ellum(that place still open?).
