In 2012 I went and worked overseas. While I was gone I moved the family from Baton Rouge to Round Rock Tx. Best decision ever. Everytime I see wafb news It re-confirms my choice

All my moves have been job related.
I had a coworker while working in Boston that got sick and tired of living in MA. He and his wife grew up there and went to college there. They both had good jobs. One day he said he was moving but didn’t know where. They flew to different cities all over the country. Their criteria was they had to know atleast one person and it had to have a professional sports team. They ended up in North Carolina. He got into fantasy sports and she became a high school coach. The last time I talked with him, they loved it there.
Another guy at that same job said if he lived during Roman times he would lived in Rome, so he was moving to NYC. He didn’t have a job lined up, just packed up and moved. He’s now a VP at a bank.

I lived two doors down from my brother who is my best friend. My other family members all lived close by and my wife’s family did as well. Moved across the country for a work opportunity and never looked back. Own my company now and it was the best decision I ever made.
