95 Toyota Camry, 180k miles. The suspension was completely wrecked. Bushings were missing, a sway bar was cracked, tire rod ends needed to be replaced desperately. The mechanic at my local dealership said he didn't feel safe driving it around the parking lot, said the passenger front left tire could shoot off at any second. Quoted 4 grand just to get it safe for the road.
Carmax offered $500 and I couldn't sign fast enough.

How legit are they? Not sure how they can go by a seller’s word to make a deal and come pick it up.
