Brother in law married a stripper when he was young. She was drug addicted, ran around on him and eventually died of an overdose. The stripper was a tortured soul with a ton of issues and the outcome was predictable.
That was 20 years ago. BIL long ago remarried and his wife is great.
Relative to the stripper, BIL made a terrible mistake based upon a gal with a banging body and a sense that he could “help” her. Clearly, she was beyond help.
