Sounds like an issue with her pancreas shutting down. Its a completely different mechanism than type 2 diabetes. Calling every disorder that requires exogenous insulin type 2 diabetics is disinformation.

Type two is due to cells uptake of insulin being disrupted due to excess fat literally deforming the cells. Type 2 diabetes should be renamed “optional diabetes” especially with all the information readily available on reversing it nowadays
