Anyone know anything about invisible fences for dogs?

I need to help my parents set up an invisible fence for their dog out in the country. The dog will probably max out at 90-100 pounds.

Yeah its a shock collar. You set sensors in the ground at corners to make a boundary. The dog passes it and gets popped.

We have one, 80 lb boxer/Sheppard mix. We put out flags to train her with knowing where it's at. She started digging in my mom's flower bed so we just put a few flags in there and she stayed the frick away

I'm not thrilled about this either man, but she keeps running in the road. Get zapped a couple times and live, or run around like a hoodlam and die.

My 85 pound lab would just stand on the border, getting his arse shocked, and just keep on walking. He'd even stop where I can clearly see his neck jumping where he is obviously getting zapped and he'd just look back, then continue going through it.

Growing up my dad bought one for his dog. I was in the kitchen when he was putting it all together. He said here put This on. I tried it on ans he proceded to shock the piss out of me. The initial shock is the worse then it's like a pulsating feeling.

We have one for my daughter's dog. They only get zapped once. After that they figure out what that beeping sound coming from their collar is about when they come close to their boundary. We got this one for her dog...

There's no need to bury sensors in your yard. Just plug it in and set how far of an area you want your dog to be able to go. another great thing about it is you can take it with you. We travel a lot with our camper. We just bring this with us and have zero issues.

Grim, you do realize that in the strictest sense any effort to domesticize an animal is taking away its freedom?

Of course I do. That's why I'm against the domestication of animals. People often wonder "How could our ancestors have thought it was ok to enslave another person?"
