Renovating a master bath and considering a Mr Steam shower system. If you’ve had one installed: was it worth it? Any pros/cons? How much extra did it cost you?

Team Steam Mist checking in. We put it in a year ago, it’s awesome but I could easily live without it. It definitely he s more use in the winter. FYI, the steam head gets really hot, put a nice brand on GFs butt during sexy time

My last place had one. The glass and door ran up to the ceiling so a regular shower already felt like a sauna. Never used it once. I think I would have likely passed out

I put a steamspa brand in. I like it, I do use it more in the winter. I forgot the price, but, should be able to find online. Haven’t had any problems with it going on 2 years now.

We are currently looking at a master bath remodel as well including a walk in steam shower (about 5'x7'x8'). Contractor said if we just went with a regular multi head shower with overhead rain head in the same space it would save us about $6,000 by the time you look at the cost of the steam generator, extra glass, special tile and backing, putting a small slant on the ceiling to run the moisture off, and adding the electrical supply (something about high amps or something).

Haven't decided yet, would love to have it but seems like more money than we figured and alot more work.

Our steam shower was put in during a remodel 10years ago.
It does not get used as much as it should. Sinus headache, sinuses stopped up? It will do wonders. Sore muscles? It’s good for that also. On a good cold morning it will invigorating you followed by a warm shower.
