I fly every week. Delta sent me an email last week saying I have flown 161K so far this year and top 5% of Atlanta travelers. I am in sales for IBM. The flying does not bother me since no one can reach me via phone. It is the rental cars and hotels that I do not like. No kids yet so I am sure that will change things.

Yeah it burned me the hell out. Nothing more irritating than spending 3-4 hours going 355 miles on a routine schedule.
Sprinkle in some EWR and ORD to round up to about 100k.

35k/year sucks as much as my 65k does, based on status benchmarks.

I work for DL. I’m not sure how much I fly - other than an absolute crap ton. It’s a great career though - more like a lifestyle. Meet a lot of cool people.

In my opinion that would be the greatest benefit of being super wealthy. Private plane travel anytime you wanted would be unbelievable. Drive to local small airport and be at your house in Exuma in 2 hours ready to hit the flats for bonefish. You could do it just for a weekend trip.

I fly about 60-70K as well ,and it was great when I first started with this amount of travel, but the last couple of years have really started to wear me down. The perks are great for taking family vacations but after it is all said and done it really has become more of a chore than fun.

I was 100% travel the last couple years. Usually fly out Sunday night and back Friday night. Out of Seattle to the east coast mostly. Would not recommend but I don’t have kids so not terrible. Having status ain’t all that.
