My grand dad was a drawbridge operator on Bayou Teche in Patterson. One day a boat was trying to go through and was blowing it's horn, but the bridge never opened. After awhile someone went into the shack and my grand dad was laying on the floor, dead from an apparent heart attack.

I know nothing about it other than taking a bush plane as landing in a lake was one of the most beautiful and enjoyable trips of my life.
