Is it a hassle? Do you generally get good tenants? What is living set up like for the tenants? Single room?

Several of my property managers think that it’s a good way to list a rental.

I’ve been researching it. I have a friend who does and he likes it as opposed to just renting it out.

Advice he’s given me:
You need nice furniture, linens etc...
Don’t leave much personal stuff because people will absolutely steal.
Get a good maid.
And, I’m not kidding about this... he said do not rent to Asians. He said they destroy his place every time.

Which city?

A lot of bigger cities are making you register your Bnb with city hall and taking a cut. People here in New Orleans do it but it’s starting to become a huge pain in the arse.

Pretty much every Airbnb I’ve stayed in I’ve had positive experiences. Besides a shite shack in Marfa Tx once.

I’m not sure how big of a market Airbnb is in Cola but it’s worth even hiring a property management company taking care of everything for you.

Did it and it worked great. Paid for most of a Paris vacation. Never had anything go wrong. Did it 3-4 times. I did invest in all new sheets and such for the guests so we wouldn’t be sleeping on the same ones.

Airbnb is something I’ll never do as a visitor or host. Sounds sketchy as shite. I hotel it 100%
