My grandson is moving back here to live with us from another state. He has been enrolled in a home school curriculum up there sinmce junior high.. He is a junior and wants to continue online education. I want to enroll him in a Louisiana based progrm so that he is eligible for Tops in two years. I know University View is apparently a huge operation as they have purchaed a large number of properties off College Drive and Bennington so apparently doing well. Any feedback if you have someoin enrolled with them? I would also welcome thoughts on any other similar Louisiana based programs that your children may have attended during high school years.

It is legit--I had a friend who taught for them for a while. She said it was good. She got out because she wanted to get back into a live classroom again.

They get really good teachers because they pay better than normal schools.

Their kids are eligible to play sports with CHEF athletes.

Thank you for confirming. They are certainly growing and buying all of the real estate around them. I assume the faculty have personal setups in the different buildings. Do they have the option of working from home?

He is 6'6 250 pounds prototypical offensive lineman, unfortunately not an athletic bone in his body. Now if XBOX was a sport he would be an All American. LOL

You’re telling me the home schooled kid just wants to sit at home alone and play XBOX? I don’t believe it…

My friend worked from home but did have to travel some within the state occasionally for in-person meetings

I’m not the least bit surprised that the people using online learning for k-12 education absolutely love it. Imagine how much easier life would be if you didn’t have to deal with typical school shite? They’ve taken every ounce of fun out of the school experience.
