Maybe. My brother and I were slaloming doubles behind the boat and my line was longer than his. I had to spray him so I start pulling in some rope and stupidly decided to wrap it around my arm. As soon as I spray him the first time I lost my balance. Luckily my uncle, who was driving, saw and immediately threw it in reverse. As I'm falling I pointed my arm toward the boat and moved my head away from the boat. Heard the handle woosh past and pluck my ear lobe. Still have a nice scar out of it but I think if he hadn't backed off when he did my head could have popped right off.
