Are you able to do lunges? How about pelvic thrusts by lying on your back with your feet on the ground?

How long did it take you to get back to a normal routine?
I am having mine done on Dec 23rd and wondering if I will be able to get back to work before after New Years?

The morning after my injury it was swollen up like a cantaloupe and I couldnt bend it at all, putting weight on it was out of the question, I was on crutches for about 2 weeks. May not be a serious injury if you didn't go through that. I never even went to the doctor, but I'm not a catcher so can't see why I would ever need to repeatedly squat like that, and I figured it would eventually get better. It has. Its not 100% but it doesn't hinder me from doing anything.

Crutches for 2 days then full weight bearing and exercises they gave me. Released me to start light jogging at 11 days but I didn't at the advice of a pt I was seeing for hip issues. I was walking perfectly normal on the day of my follow up visit. make sure to work out the scar tissue by massaging it. Where are you located/who's doing surgery? Didn't really even need pain meds.
Oh my surgery was on a friday (cooked dinner that night) and i went to work the following Wednesday ... Could prob have gone Monday or Tuesday. Left knee so driving wasnt an issue that time. This time it may be.

Mine has been killing me for about 8 weeks. I finally broke down and went to the Dr. He said he wouldn't know the extent of the tear until he got in there. So he couldn't really tell me how long to expect the recovery to be. He said normally a couple of weeks. North Alabama / Hovater

Good luck ... Had a scope 12 years ago and it wasnt this easy. Walking from the get go and they gave me no exercises. Good luck ... Mine wasnt bad at all and was done by a former LSU offensive lineman. Lol .. Ready for the next one on 12/17.

The best thing to do is soak a couple of rags in kerosene, then wrap them around your ankles. That'll keep the ants from crawling up your legs and eating your candy arse.

Doesn't sound like a meniscus at all to me
I've torn both medial meniscus (one of the flipped) and the lateral meniscus on one knee
Meniscus injuries ain't shite you'll be fine if it is that.
Eta, when I tore my PCL I had that deep stabbing burn in the back of my knee but not real instability
