My mom and I aren’t incredibly close; we talk every couple months or so. That works for us.

My sister and her family were at her MIL’s and I was home alone. I did laundry, took a nap on the couch and watched the Cubs game. No drama here.

Went to Broken Egg for breakfast. (Perkins). Stupid host said 30 minute wait. Put our name down and left after 1 hour and 10 minutes. Stupid bitch sent us a text 1 hour and 36 minutes after we checked in. We were already gone somewhere else. It would have been another 45 minutes waiting on food I’m sure.
