My last 2 years working nights I was getting horrible sleep during the day between shifts. I was lucky to get 5-6 hours total and was waking up usually twice in that time. I was very much sleep deprived.

Now I average 6.5-7 hours a night and it's made a huge difference. I would love to get 8 hours of sleep each night but then I would have to go to bed around 7:30-8 each night.

I avg 6-7 hours sleep per night and rarely sleep over 8 hours. I just changed mattresses to see how much that changes my sleep pattern. Since I'm getting older, I figure I might want to try to add a little more sleep to my diet.

I've also realized that the extra 2 hours of sleep that I could be getting (between 10-12pm) that I enjoy my life the most then. I'm usually watching Netflix/movies/tv shows, or gaming, or reading, just relaxing during the time I could be sleeping! I like living better than sleeping.
