most poor people are poor because they are stupid. that is a fact. They are poor because they buy useless shite on credit, tank their credit score, and do other stupid shite. I have a buddy who paid nearly 10K for a car that was listed at 7K because he fell for dealership tricks

Bingo. And he's too stupid to realize that a day will come when the shoe is on the other foot. Like I said earlier, that boy has a lot of lessons in life still to come, hard lessons. And high on that list is a touch of humility.

Man I'm only 5 years older than you but you make me sound like an old man. you have a lot to learn if you think that is fact and your evidence is your dumbass friend buying a truck.

Most poor people are poor because they were born into generational poverty in a place with a poor economy and they weren't able to get out. However, lots of other people are poor because they are lazy and/or stupid.

On the flip side, lots of people are well off (even lazy and stupid people) because they were born into advantage circumstances.

At 24, the world is probably very black and white to you and you probably lack the ability to challenge your concrete world view despite its limited scope.

"I'm 24 and make $50K a year " sounds like an OT lunch time story.

What do you mean they were unable to get out? Someone kept them from moving?

There are literally thousands of veterans that can't work because of injuries sustained during war.

There are thousands of single parents that work multiple jobs and can't afford to buy nice vehicles and homes....can barely make ends meet.

Thousands of people lost everything in floods over the past two weeks, and are now "poor".

Thousands of parents sacrifice things so their children can go to better schools.

Yeah, some folks are poor because they are lazy, but there are lots of people that are trying hard but are still poor.

Hopefully you're just trolling and not the huge piece of shite you come across as. Life has a way of humbling folks, junior.

Yep, the world changes a hell of a lot for people between 20 and 35.

Quite a few people are unable to afford a $70,000 pickup truck because of bad credit, or a past criminal charge they were unable to buy themselves out of.

Any person working and paying their own way gets some respect from me.

Every situation you listed except MAYBE injured veterans can be easily prevented by not being an idiot.

Everyone is an idiot at some point in their life. Some people just have the financial means to overcome it better than others.

I kind of enjoy you and posters like TH being judgmental pricks on here, but you can't then whine about the millennial plight and job scene all the time.
