Anyone ever had epidural steroid injections?

Used to get them in high school before football games. They allowed me to play but then I couldn't get out of bed for 2 days

My dad gets them regularly for severe back problems. They generally help somewhat. It just depends on the person. Some it doesn't help at all, some it clears up their problem with one shot.

I've had 4. First two did nothing. Last couple gave a little relief for a couple months. Nothing earth shattering. I think they work different on different people
