re: Anyone else sonetimes miss rotary phones?

The same feeling goes with the Angry Dial: youngsters just don't appreciate it. I remember going home to visit my dad who only had a rotary phone and no cell phone service and trying to reach then erst-while boyfriend Mr Mercy. I would dial his NYC number really really really hard - All ten digits of it. As if slamming my index finger against that little metal stopper would show him. Oy.
