Diagnosed with the super flu two weeks ago today, shite about killed me for the first 5 days. Ran fever of over 102 for first 3 or 4 days, sickest I've ever been. I'm about 75% now, a nagging cough I can't get over which has pretty much cost me my voice for the last week. Think I'm opting for a shot next year, that shite sucked.

Thank goodness, I haven't had it in several years, but this sounds like what I had on my last bout with it. Sickest I have ever been...

4 months ago, if you did not get Tamaflu in the first 48 hours of symptoms, man I feel extra sorry for you. Make sure you see a doctor, don't fool around

Went to Dr and was tested, he gave something for nausea as I wasn't able to keep any liquids down, and a Tamaflu scrip. He straight up told me to expect 3 or 4 more days of feeling terrible and all the Tamaflu would do to maybe knock a day off the back end of getting over it. Wife had it a couple days before me and was misdiagnosed as a URI and by the time she got back to Dr she was outside the Tamaflu window and just got a steroid shot. 600mg of ibuprofen every 5 to 6 hours is about the only thing that helped after a while with the fever and body aches.
