I really want to play there at some point. Went and played the island a couple weeks ago and had a blast.

The Island is under appreciated. It's got some mundane holes, but the holes along the waterway are terrific....2,10,11,12. 18 is a terrific risk/reward par 5 finishing hole.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, especially bc I had never heard of it. It's not gonna blow you away but it's got some challenging holes with narrow fairways.

It happens man, glad to hear you otherwise enjoyed it. I think if they could get an ownership group up there that was actually wanting to own a course and not just trying to recoup their previous investment. It could go back to being really nice with some work.

Some of the tee boxes suck and will always suck because of the amount of shade they get

Lol they have a golf trip this weekend, and are getting ready for the Chesty wedding Golf tournament next week. As to the tee boxes you're correct. Gotta try and make it work.
