Yeah, I'm not sure if comparing OLOL to Charity or EKL is fair. OLOL is in a strong area, with strong leadership, and is receiving A LOT of money. While the hospital is taking "new" patients, that doesn't mean that the hospital is all of a sudden a shite hole. They are spending a couple hundred million on the children's hospital. Just finished new cancer center and heart center, I would hardly compare OLOL to Charity and EKL.

I talked with a CEO of a Regional Hospital in south LA last week, and he was saying that if hospital CEOs don't start making drastic changes they will be in for a major hurting. He said recent trend data showed people going less to hospitals. He also said there are more showing up are coming in with Medicare which does not pay well compared to other insurances or they just weren't getting paid for their services. So revenue was done from multiple routes.
