Anybody know anything about mesh coolers?

I've already had some bros in the store try and sell me the merits of a $300 YETI mesh cooler.

I opted for its $50 Igloo cousin with a Yeti Ice insert. A compromise.

I'm not a broseph in the knowseph, but I could use some input about durability. These Igloos will support moderate use?

Seems like it was a better investment. $300 for a mesh hand held cooler seems kind of absurd if it's not self cooling.
