Anybody else here in a relationship with one of yall who chooses not to drink?

My wife quit drinking by choice over 20 years ago. She does not mess with me about my drinking as long as I don't get stupid drunk or drive under the influence.

a little social drinking on the part of one or the other is fine...however, if one gets sloppy drunk and the other has to babysit, that ends with quickness...

This is what I was thinking, glad you said it.

Why did you make it a point to quit if you didnt care much about drinking anyway? Seems to me that you could still have a couple of social drinks since you wouldnt go overboard.

I love my beer and drink when I want... My wife is not much of a drinker...All is fine...

The key is that I drink at home and am not causing trouble...

Shes cool with it...

I drink, the Canadian really doesn't. I don't get wasted, but at least I always have a dd.

That was another issue that I no longer have to worry about.

Yeah. The ot didn't like me calling him the boy and I rarely refer to him as the husband.

He's from canada.

I wouldn't care if she chose not to drink but I don't see myself giving it up anytime soon. As long as she's not sitting in the corner of every social event we were at, no shits given
