My wife asked me to go look at it with her but we have so many trees around us we couldn't see anything.

No photos will do it justice. I just stared at the moon for a little while and my eyes hurt now. It’s very bright

The sky is crystal clear here. This is one of the prettiest moons I’ve ever seen.

I’m trying to get some good telescope pics. This moon is so bright, it is too intense for me look through the eyepiece for more than a few seconds.

So intense that I confess to googling to make sure I wasn’t hurting my eyes.

Yeah, I have a view of it next to Mt Hood. Was better earlier as it was coming up.

Wish all phones would take national geographic quality sky pictures.
