What was the club called in front of Bon Marche Mall in the separate building?
2010/Zoo behind Bon Marche. The Texas Club a street or two over.
That was the happening area from the late 80s, early 90s.

It always took me longer to start rolling than all my friends. I hated watching everyone else's eyes roll back in their heads while I was waiting for my first pill to kick in.

I always knew the pills were going to be good when I would see somebody throw up after taking them

There was another in front of that lasted a year or two. And you had the other club at the corner of Florida and Airline that open/closed many times. The building is still there.
The last time I went to that club, Stevie B was playing.

Truth. I could usually tell by the taste. The good pills had a unique taste.

It was a great scene. I do not remember ever seeing a fight at the fish. The first time I went to the fish, located off of the Lake Martin road, was summer of 1988. Great music and great memories wish I could turn back the clock. Never have seen many pictures or videos from those times we spent there tho.

Baton Rouge also had The Shelter and the Viper Room in the mid 90’s

I lived in Houston from 93 to 95 it was a crazy time and that reminds me strippers are crazy bitches. I remember Club Some/Emos and a few more.
