This. The little plastic one is crap, but the brass one kicks arse. We've had ours over a year and love it.

It really does. Have been using these for a few years - work well with attachments too -you can get these from equestrian supply catalogues.
As for the stuff from the commercials, a friend told me they have a ton of it at Bed Bath and Beyond. I went yesterday and bought some hair drying towel things and 6 car caddies - these are amazing! They fit between your car seat and console so your cell phone doesn't get stuck in that no-mans land. Damn, wish I would have invented that!
No drain hair thing, but I'll check back!!
