you'd have to buy a damn cargo container just for a woman to have enough "storage room"

It appeals to me in a way. I'd love to buy a beautiful piece of land in a place like Northern New Mexico, Colorado, Utah etc and build a smaller house (less than 800sq ft). Get rid of all my useless stuff that just accumulates over time etc.

For me though, i'd build a big outdoor space with an outdoor kitchen, decks or patios, firepit etc. Then the small house would have big sliding glass doors that would open to this. It would create a lot more living area so it wouldn't feel as small. I'd also need a shed to store the kayak, mtn bike, snowboard & skis, fishing stuff etc
I'd also need to work from home b/c no way in hell i'd live in a tiny house on a lot in suburban wherever

There is a TD poster in Ohio who had a barn built and converted it into a home. It was pretty basic but, well done.

I don't recall his handle but, three is a thread out there somewhere.

The whole "tiny house" thing is so unbelievably queer. You know, here in America we've had "tiny houses" for quite some time. They're called modular homes fancy arse.

Absolutely not. The average family lived in them up until the 80's. It's the McMansion that's a fad.
