I’ve got one from the 1790’s that was part of the first post office in Paramatta, New South Wales. Other than that bricks ain’t my thing unless it’s for a retaining wall.

Also be aware that a lot of those early to mid-century bricks are made with asbestos which was for ‘fireproofing’.
Not exactly terrible, but just don’t crush them up and breathe them in

You chime in on quite a few guitar threads. Would you "clean up" a pre war Martin or a 59' Les Paul?
I'd go very easy on the cleaning. MAYBE you have the 59' Les Paul of brick in there? Don't pressure wash it.

Oh no, I just washed the mud off with the water hose and my hand.
I found this Ebay site selling the TEXAS brick for $27.50 and some other bricks I have for $15.99. I can retire now!
