The most natural remedy is to get sick. Seriously. I had a cold for a week and a half and I couldn't smoke a cig if my life depended on it. I know a few people who had the flu and they haven't smoked since then.

E cigs cause more cancer than regular tobacco and tar. The studies will be out in the next 10 years wait and see. You are literally smoking chemicals.

PG 80% VG 20%
PG 65% VG 35%
PG 50% VG 50%
PG 20% VG 80%
Max VG%

Mix of Propylene Glycol and vegetable glycerin. Most people use 50/50 or something close. I would start there.

I've quit smoking regular cigarettes for 6 months but as another poster stated a 1 cigarette snowball effect got me off track for 2 months. I've just got my new setup and hopefully will be vaping down to >1% nicotine in a few months and all together quit vaping once my setup dies on me. As far as the blend, it all boils down to personal preference but according to the internet, a higher pg to vg % will give you a harsher throat hit, while a higher vg% will give you a better vapor cloud. There's plenty of forums and videos on this "fad."

I've been cig free for 4 months now. Granted i still dip, but the urge to smoke a cigarette is completely satisfied by the e-cig for me. I strongly suggest going high end right off the bat. There is an extreme difference in the quality of smoke between brands. The blu cig, vuse, and other convenience store brands are absolute shite, and they are the ones that burn plastic and metal and give of carcinogens and shite.

I've got a Aspire Atlantis tank and an Eleaf 30 watt iStick battery pack. Initial cost of $115, but exponentially cheaper than a pack every day or two.

VG creates bigger clouds, smokes smoother
PG carries the flavor, but creates the harshness in the throat

The highest quality juices are the ones with higher VG content. I purchased a 16oz bottle of pure Vegetable Glycerin and add it to my juices to make them less harsh as well as lower the nicotine level (got a bunch of free juices that werent exactly what i wanted from a friend with a vape shop)

If you REALLY want to quit, do what I did. Make a New Year's Eve resolution to quit. Stop at midnight. Get shite face drunk at a party in the mountains of Utah. Wake up the next day with (A) a hangover of monster proportions, (B) severe nicotine withdrawals, and (C) a case of the FLU. Not your typical get a sniffle and a cough and call it the flu. No, I mean, the real fricking flu that puts you in the hospital and you can barely breath for three weeks kind of flu.

After that, I tried a cigarette after 3 weeks and it tasted like shite. Haven't smoked since. That was 1997.

Yeah i kinda knew what i was getting into. Got weathered in offshore and went 6 days without cigs or dip, first thing i did when i got home was go to a vape shop. Prices online are substantially lower, for sure, but being a total noob to the vape world it was nice to have an informed salesperson show me how everything works and suggest juices and such.

I've been a pack a day (sometimes more) smoker for 24 years. 4 months ago today I got pneumonia. Haven't touched a cigarette since.

It's crazy how your body rejects the chemicals. Taste buds, lungs, and throat. When I'm sick I can't even fathom a cigarette.

Dude at work swears by the vapes. There's a place on Highland call "Go Vaper" that he says is the best ever. I'm going to check it out.

I already have an addiction to nicotine. I've been dipping since I was 10.

I've been dipping for a long time too. I stopped about 3 months ago. Problem is, started smoking. Happens to me every time I quit dipping. I'm going to have to check out the vapor stuff.
