Imagine giving up your only child to death so that others can live in eternity in heaven.
I am not trying to be a smartass, but how did God give up his only Child? He sent him to Earth right? Then he eventually gets crucified by the romans. Then days after Jesus died his body went to heaven, with God. How did he give him up if he eventually went back to him?
