Dentist not doctor, but I wouldn’t put much weight into the “non tender”symptom. I have had DS patients that have not needed anesthesia for dental procedures which would be torture for most people. Hope you find the answer soon. Best of luck!

Is he teething right now? Orajel can cause swelling in an allergic reaction.

I am sorry that you are going through this. Nothing worse than being worried about your child.

The radiographs were not a waste of time or money. Nor were the antibiotics.

Do people really think that you were going to go in and the pediatrician was going to tell you, "Oh this is just Baby Swollen Finger Tip Syndrome here is your special pill for that"

This is a weird case. I hope it resolves on its own or you get a diagnosis that is benign.

I would agree. It may not have told you what it was but it at least told you what it wasn't. So you begin the process of ruling things out. I wish I could help with some wisdom on what your little angel is going through my man. We will ask the good Lord to lay his healing hands on your child and give it's parents the strength, wisdom and patience to get through this.
