I remember hearing about how much the fuselage would expand in flight...after looking it up, here are some tidbits on the concord:
The nose would reach 260 degrees F during flight at Mach 2. At its maximum speed of Mach 2.2, the nose would reach 307 F.
At Mach 2, it would gain nearly a foot in length (5% increase in fuselage length).
Of the 20 built, one prototype was scrapped and one was destroyed in the 2000 crash. Of the remaining planes, the ones on display in the US are in the following locations:
Smithsonian Air and Space Museum
Intrepid Air and Space Museum (New York)
Museum of Flight (Seattle)
Aerospace Web

I hope these people died quickly.
And can you imagine what people on nearby planes thought when it was lifting off on fire.

Rather take a ride in one of these...too bad these things were pretty much overregulated out of business.
I believe they have about 5 in operation these days.
