I do, I own my own agency. Like a good neighbor.....
I started with an assignment of part of an existing book. About 1400 autos. There are pros and cons of New market vs assignment.
We have an insane annual bonus program, most of my peers are north of 100k in bonus alone. We also have an annual travel program all over the world.

I am more than willing to talk if you’re interested. I’ll share my marketing and anything you want to know.

It's like anything you have to invest a lot of time and effort. You also have to have enough moxie to be accurate and deal with the public. Highly stressful at times.es too but you can certainly do well if you measure up to all that.

I switched careers to insurance about 6 years ago and haven't looked back.

What do you for marketing? Office space? I'm thinking about a small office that is affordable to get started and building myself a website, doing some online marketing, direct mail, etc.
Anything in particular that works for you?

Here’s the deal. Indy is easy to start but usually offers little training and support.
I got my office from the prior agent in the area. I have a team of three licensed employees. Marketing is internet leads, SEM, SEO, referrals, direct mail community events, menus, TVs you name it.
I’m in PCB, and it’s booming now with new construction. We insure from 30A to port St Joe. Being active in the chamber and developing relationships with realtors has worked well. Internet leads work well for us, but you have to have a consistent process.

As long as it ain't Primerica baw
My bro and sister in law got caught up in that about 6 years ago. They were convinced they were going to make millions "helping people". They went on FB and shamed everyone that had a steady job.
Still living in a 2 bdr house with her mother and aunt with 4 kids... No more Primerica. Not sure what happened there.

It is a tough way to scratch a living if you are on the new contract and aren't given a good starter book. I have heard many just starting don't break even for 2-3 years.
Thank you for your service BTW
