Any experiences with UroLift for treating enlarged prostate (BPH)?

Anyone that suffers with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) or enlarged prostate have the Urolift treatment? If so, what were your results? Was it the right decision? My doctor is recommending it.
I had a prostate biopsy, cystoscope, and abdominal CT. All good, just enlarged prostate.
So, in before: aids, dick cancer, anal whatever.

Not firsthand, but my uncle had the procedure a couple of months ago. He had some post-op pain, but after about a week the pain subsided and he has not had any complaints at all.

I work in patient care. I’ve had multiple patients have it and it helped a lot with their urinary frequency. Recovery seems relatively easy.

Do you have any experience with patients that have had a transuerethal resection? That's what I'm scheduled for.

Better recovery than a TURP. Think of it as pulling curtains back to open a window. You're not removing tissue, just pulling it back. Least invasive and it works well. You can always go back later and add more clips if you need to. It can be done outpatient and at a surgery center. There's a great urologist on the Northshore that performs them.
But if your prostate is too large or have a high median lobe then you may not be a great candidate. Your Urologist can let you know that info.
